Mulan

Mulan is an older boy who had a bit of an unexpected start at Paws and Claws: when he came to us, he was marked as being female! It was only after an exam at the shelter showed Mulan's true identity that we realized the mistake, creating a coincidental parallel to the movie character he's named after! In foster, Mulan has shown his great attachment to his younger brother, McCall. Mulan is sweet and unflappable, able to handle McCall's rambunctious nature with ease. It's clear that Mulan is attached to people, even though he isn't much for personal attention or pets. He and McCall will curl up in the bed next to you at night, and when you leave the room, Mulan settles down in the exact spot you were just sitting. While they each have their own quirks, McCall and Mulan keep each other balanced and must go home together.
