2025 marks the biggest year for Paws and Claws Cat Rescue. As we step into a new year, we are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone—our 5th anniversary! This year marks half a decade of dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating cats in need. We're making it our most impactful year yet.
To commemorate this special occasion, we hosted our first-ever gala: The Catalyst Ball. This inaugural, lifesaving occasion was our most critical fundraising event to date. Together, we raised $115,000!!!! And it's not too late to give.
Every dollar raised that night is being directed toward The Porchlight Fund, a vital next-step in the unfolding of a new chapter of saving lives and building community for Paws and Claws. The Porchlight Fund will bridge the rescue gap and light the path for the cats who depend on us now, those who are waiting for us, and the people who join us in this mission. Because of you, thousands of lives will be changed for the better— both feline and human.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Paws and Claws Cat Rescue is to prevent and alleviate the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Paws and Claws helps cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.
We are based in Evanston, Illinois, with the cats we rescue coming from all over the Chicagoland area, the greater Midwest region, and beyond.
