The Paws and Claws Cat Adoption Center is located at 829 Chicago Ave in Evanston.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Volunteers must be:

18+ years of age
Able to bend, squat, lift 40+ lbs, and stand for long periods of time
Able to work with people and felines

THE CAT CARE CREW

Play with and help foster confidence in cats
Assist with socialization and easing stress
Clean free roaming cat rooms and cages
Change food and water dishes
Help with dishes and laundry

JOIN THE CREW

I look forward to volunteering at Paws and Claws every week. No matter how stressful my day at work could have been, coming down to the shelter to help out adorable cats and experience camaraderie with other volunteers never fails to lift my spirits. I truly feel like I have found a place where I can contribute something meaningful while also having a great time.
