Street and Avenue
Street and Avenue are two bonded brothers who have gotten the chance to grow and let their personalities emerge as they've been with Paws and Claws! These two wild boys love to do everything together, ranging from playwrestling and napping (which they do curled up with one another.) They are affectionate, but on their terms -- they know what they want, and when they want it! Both cats enjoy hanging out on a lap, but they love playing and exploring the most.

Alder
Alder is a sweet and very intelligent young adult cat. He has quite a bit of energy and can creatively have fun with almost anything, though he prefers to play with his humans rather than alone. He also enjoys looking out the window and investigating things around the house. He’s not just a ball of energy though. He likes to cuddle and when picked up, he will lick his person’s face and nudge his head into theirs. He also often shows his curiosity by looking up at his people and tilting his head - almost like a puppy!

Hi, I’m Valerie and I’m looking for a roommate. What to know about me? I’m 10 years old and prefer calm people, a home with no other animals, and I never say no to a little milk, cheese, or peanut butter. Sometimes I enjoy hanging out on the back of the couch near you or laying on the rug in whatever room you’re in to provide you with company, but I don’t like to invade your personal space. Snuggling is not my thing at all, but I’m OK with some pets and scratches to my head and will let you know when I get overstimulated and want you to stop. In exchange for you making sure I don’t overeat or eat too fast (dry food only, none of that smelly wet food), I’ll monitor the outside world through the windows for you to ensure things are safe. After 230 days in our care, Oasis has come such a long way from the shy, fearful cat she first was when she arrived at Paws and Claws. With slow movements, gentle words, and a loving touch, Oasis's sweet personality shines through. She still has all the playful spirit of a kitten, and adores intense petting sessions, especially when getting scritches on the sides of her face. Alfredo, nicknamed Royaa by his beloved foster family, is a snuggly sweetheart wrapped up in a tough-guy exterior. He's got his signature cat-eye glare down, but will become purring putty in your hands if you give him a few pets and a warm, cozy blanket to curl up in. Alfredo can keep himself well-occupied with some toys, but adores interactive playtime with his humans, and particularly loves chasing a wand or string around. Diesel is a boy with a wonderfully affectionate and gentle personality, and the sweetest little detail: the very tips of his hind legs are white, as if he dipped his tippy toes in paint!
This sweet young boy is so, so friendly. He truly loves people and seeks out human connection. When you scoop him up, he happily relaxes into your arms, often flopping belly-up, and starts his purr motor. He enjoys being held and cuddled, and has a calm, loving presence.
Diesel is social, gentle, trusting, and deeply people-oriented. He enjoys relaxed time with his person, and has a strong love for his vertical sisal scratching post, which he uses enthusiastically! He also really enjoys feather and string toys. Diesel has so much love to give and hopes to find his forever family very soon!

Zenyatta (affectionately also known as "Zen" or "Z") is quite the sweet little lady--while she's purr-fectly content with taking naps in her cave bed when alone, she won't hesitate to happily greet you with her chirpy meows and headbutt your hands/legs asking for affection. She LOVES getting her ears scratched and will roll around on the floor happily to show you how much she's enjoying it.
