Alder

Alder is a sweet and very intelligent young adult cat. He has quite a bit of energy and can creatively have fun with almost anything, though he prefers to play with his humans rather than alone. He also enjoys looking out the window and investigating things around the house. He’s not just a ball of energy though. He likes to cuddle and when picked up, he will lick his person’s face and nudge his head into theirs. He also often shows his curiosity by looking up at his people and tilting his head - almost like a puppy!

Winifred

Winifred has the look of a storybook heroine: big eyes, tiny face, a delicate presence… but don’t be fooled, she’s also a fierce wand-toy warrior! She plays tug-of-war with all the gusto of a terrier, and once she wins, she proudly drags the toy straight to her water bowl like a trophy.

She’s a girl who blossoms with gentle company, sometimes surprising her foster by initiating a cuddle session. And while she’ll always be remembered as an excellent mama (she raised her own kittens plus an adopted bonus baby), she’s ready to retire from motherhood and lean into being someone’s beloved companion.

Hi! Our names are Metallica and Goo Goo Dolls, and we’re a brother and sister looking for our forever home together. We might take a little time to decide we trust you, but we’re both super sweet and will reward you for your patience with two amazing best friends. Meet Ike! With his people, he's super soft and cuddly and is always open to pets! When you prepare his food, he gets really chatty, which is super endearing. Ike loves to lay next to his people for a nap like a peaceful lovebug. Ike likes getting picked up and doesn't mind some loving while you do so. For the most part, Ike is easygoing and will always show up to keep you company. While he keeps himself entertained with toys, he also loves to roughhouse with other cats (and lounge around with them afterwards). Charleston

Charleston is an easygoing social butterfly who can't wait to meet you! He loves attention and he'll make sure you know it--he's a vocal kitty, especially when he's hungry, and is not shy about asking for pets. Charleston is an energetic cat, always chasing after his favorite toy balls and scratching away at his post. He can't wait to find his forever home, hopefully somewhere with tons of treats to appease his big appetite.

Cinderella

Cinderella is a sweet and very affectionate cat. Once she meets you, she will make sure to build a bond with you. She will follow and look for you when she wants your attention. She is your biggest cuddler. When it's time to rest she will look for your lap to lay on. She isn't that interested in playing because she's to busy wanting love and lots of kisses! However, her magical palace is a good cardboard box to hide in.

Mulan

Mulan is looking for affection and anything interesting in the sky. He will be waiting for you to wake up in the morning, and in the entry when you get home at night, always wondering where you've been and why you haven't started petting him yet. He loves to receive pets most of all; it seems his biggest issue is deciding whether he'd like to be pet on the left or right side of his body, and he'll roll over every minute or two until you get tired.

Heath

Heath is a very sweet and cuddly cat. He loves to curl up in your lap and will gently chase after your hand for pets. He won't say no to getting picked up either. Heath is your night owl, he is the most active at night. When he sleeps, he chirps happily and has the most adorable purr. Occasionally he will roll over for a few belly rubs. He can be silly at times and often skittish when it comes to hearing loud noises. He enjoys playing with his wand toy, loves gazing out the window, and will often follow you around.

Chevrolet

This guy came into our care and immediately made an impression with his voice that loudly said “pay attention to me!” Chevrolet has now mellowed out quite a bit and we know him as a shy little boy with a lot of love to give to those who earn his trust. While his first impressions may not be as glamorous as those of other cats who walk right up with a headbutt and a purr, Chevrolet is a lesson in the fact that putting in the work will always bring the best rewards. McCall

McCall is a beautiful, playful, and affectionate little boy. He loves being around people and has a very sweet personality. He’s also quite the foodie — sometimes he’ll sit in the kitchen and watch his people cook with great curiosity! Foxtrot is the most people-oriented of the siblings, preferring pets and attention over toys and food. When she wants something, she lets out the cutest squeak to get your attention.

Meet Ceramic and Sculpture! Although the pair are not particularly bonded, they often stay and play (sometimes wrestle) together. In their foster home, the duo are very active--they love to chase toys and explore every inch of their home. They often sleep cuddled up together, and when their foster returns home, they find them waiting to greet them right by the door. Ceramic likes to "fly" onto their human's shoulder and into their lap, while Sculpture prefers to stretch out to get pets. These two would make an excellent addition to any active home!

Rainbow Fish

Meet Rainbow Fish! Rainbow Fish is a sweet and playful girl who knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it. She may take a bit of time to warm up, but once she does you will find that she sets her own boundaries and demands attention when she feels ready. Rainbow Fish has a knack for finding the perfect spot to rest in and to do her own thing, and loves to curl up on your lap for head rubs and scratches. She is the perfect balance of independent and attention grabbing, and cannot wait to find her forever home!

Beverly

Cutiepie is, well, a cutiepie! A generally relaxed kitten, she tends to go along with whatever vibe she senses--if you're asleep, she's asleep, and if you're awake, she's playing! While it's hard to say what the cutest thing about her is, one contender is that she's still currently working on her meows--right now, they're almost entirely silent!

Moon Pie

Moon Pie is a whirlwind of energy wrapped in a beautiful tortoiseshell coat. This playful girl is always on the move, zooming through hallways, bouncing off walls, and pouncing on her beloved toy mice. Hunting and chasing are her favorite pastimes, often leading to surprise attacks from beneath the blankets!

When she's not in the middle of a zoomies session, Moon Pie enjoys perching by the window, captivated by the birds outside. She also adores her wand toy and isn’t shy about latching onto an arm for a playful kick when feeling extra feisty.

Though initially shy, once Moon Pie warms up, she becomes a talkative and affectionate companion. Reindeer

Reindeer is a standard-issue orange boy who only has two brain cells, but he tries extra hard to keep up. His tongue pokes a bit out of his mouth at times, almost like he forgot it was there. If you put him somewhere (like the couch or your lap), he tends to flop and settle in like "welp, this is my life now." Being a tripod does not limit his mobility at all, either. He has no problem jumping on the bed or couch, although he is a bit clumsy doing so. Reindeer primarily wears a little sweater to protect his healing stitches, which he tolerates very well (and looks adorable in!) Reindeer is the perfect relaxed companion.

Kelp

It's hard to get a high-quality picture of Kelp to show off his beautiful long-haired mane because he's constantly in motion! At 2 years old, Kelp has yet to lose an ounce of his kitten energy, and loves to zoom around the house and bat at toys, cardboard boxes, and unsuspecting hands. He's not just an (adorable) menace, but also an affectionate companion: he loves to climb on top of you when you're lying down and put his head right where your hand is, reminding you that he's there and would LOVE some attention. Uptown's personality is a blend of his two siblings, Lakeview and Edgewater. He's a bit more timid than the confident Edgewater, but comes out of his shell rather quickly with a bit of time. He's very playful, and loves to rope his brother into some rambunctious activities like any good kitten would. He has no issues eating, using the litterbox, or using the cat scratcher. While Uptown could go independently, he would love to go home with his brother, Edgewater, who makes him a more confident kitty.

Edgewater

It's a big-ear convention when the siblings Lakeview, Edgewater, and Uptown come together!

Edgewater is the most social of his siblings, and was friendly and playful the minute he came under the care of Paws and Claws. He loves to have his gorgeous coat brushed, or use the cat scratcher to get out his excess energy. Edgewater is an independent cat who does not necessarily have to go home with any of his siblings, but would help his brother, Uptown, thrive in any home.

Lakeview

It's a big-ear convention when the siblings Lakeview, Edgewater, and Uptown come together!

Lakeview is a sweet, timid girl who needs a bit of reassurance before she opens up. Although she tends to not approach you initially, she's secretly ALL about attention. If you gently pick her up or start petting her, she melts into you, headbutting for more pets and loving. With more time, she's sure to come out of her shell more and reveal that sweetheart personality we're sure she has. She has all the right kitten habits, with no issues eating, using the litterbox, or scratching furniture. While she has no issues with other cats and plays well with her brothers, she would do well as a solo cat due to her reserved nature.

Broadway

Look at those big eyes and sleek, black coat...don't you just want to take her home? This is Broadway, a shy adult cat with a lot of heart. While she can be slow to warm up, she's a true sweetheart. In her foster home, where she's been given the space to blossom, she spends most of her days nuzzling up for pets and batting her favorite squeaky toy around. With Broadway, the old adage is true: good things come to those who wait, and she is certainly a cat worth waiting for.

Loop

Loop is the golden standard of kitten. Her favorite thing in the world is people, and she shows her endless devotion by licking their fingers, toes, and noses. She's almost always purring, even without you touching her, and making biscuits with her tiny paws. Her favorite toy is a snakey wand toy, which she trots around proudly after catching it. She's quite playful, but needs a quiet, dark space to take her cat naps. She's delightfully chatty, using her sweet chirps to let you know when she wants to play (which is quite often!) Loop is also quite brave, and was exploring her foster home with her tail raised high almost immediately. She is an absolute gem of a cat, and would bring a lifetime of joy to whoever brings her home.

Asbury

Asbury is a gentle, older kitten looking for affection on her terms. She can be easily frightened by loud noises or sudden movements, but enjoys affection when she approaches you and initiates pets by bumping her little head against you. She loves playing with toys, and anything with a bell gets extra points in her book. Asbury is extremely well behaved as well, only using her scratching pad when she needs to get some energy out. Main

Named after the Purple Line stop directly across from our very own rescue, meet Main! Main loves to greet you when you arrive home with little squeaks, requesting cheek and head rubs. When he elects to keep himself occupied, he'll chase around his mouse toy or ball. Once finished, however, he's finding you to flop down next to, keeping you company. He's a very curious kitty, who will be more than happy to follow you around the house, nuzzling your leg along the way. Jigsaw, affectionately known as Jiggy in his foster home, is truly a super tender-hearted soul with an endless supply of love to give. This calm, sweet love bug is happiest when he’s by your side, soaking up attention and returning it tenfold. He’s been wonderful with the child in his foster home, showing just how gentle and patient he is. When he’s not cuddling or curiously exploring his surroundings, he enjoys feather wand toys! Crunchwrap Supreme

Crunchwrap is everything a kitten should be—playful, friendly, and full of bouncy, happy spirit. She's equally confident as she is adventurous, loving to run through her foster family's home and explore every nook and cranny she can find. She's the most playful of the Taco Bell kittens--a hard feat to accomplish! Her favorite way to play--and her best party trick--is scurrying up a scratching post or cat tree in the blink of an eye. She's comfortable with her foster family's dog and cats. Crunchwrap would be a wonderful addition to any family!

Cheesy Gordita Crunch

Since arriving at Paws and Claws as a small and fragile kitten, little Gordita has flourished and is ready for all that life has to offer. Like her littermates, this little Taco Bell kitten is outgoing, sociable, and affectionate. She a sweetheart who's especially quick to approach for cuddles, and also loves a good adventure. When she's not chasing after one of her littermates, she's finding new places to explore and new heights to climb. She's done well with her foster family's cats, and also made fast friends with their dog, snuggling up on his tail—which is twice as big as her entire body! One of her funniest tricks is dragging a spinny disk toy to all sorts of places...it isn't a small toy, but nothing's going to stop little Gordita.

Chalupa Supreme

Like her littermates, this little Taco Bell kitten is outgoing, sociable and affectionate. Although Chalupa was born with swimmer's syndrome (meaning she has no kneecaps), she has not let that stop her from all sorts of kitten adventures, whether that's playing tag with her littermates, climbing up the cat tree, or chasing the cat wand across the floor. She's been a good sport about having her tiny legs bandaged, and it's paid off with excellent progress. As a result of her swimmer's syndrome, she can't move as fast as she'd probably like, which means she can be a bit more cautious in new situations. Quite understandably, she can spend more time watching from the sidelines before hopping into the action. She's growing increasingly comfortable with her foster family's dog, and she's made friends with her family's cats as well. One of Chalupa's cutest habits is falling asleep sitting up after a long session of playtime. Silly Chalupa! She also enjoys climbing into a lap for snuggles and a churu treat, and her cuteness and can-do spirit are irresistible.

Baja Blast

Baja Blast is an absolute sweetheart. With her soulful eyes and extraordinary whiskers, she's a true beauty, inside and out. Everyone she met has been a friend. Affectionate and sociable, she's quick to reach out for cuddles when a new person enters the room. When she arrived at Paws and Claws, she was emaciated and exhausted, bravely caring for her babies. Even during those first days, she was trusting, full of love, and ready for snuggles.

She's been a devoted mom to her three kittens, allowing them to explore--including meeting the very large resident dog--but still racing over to them at the first sound of an anxious mew. She's been unbothered by her foster family's dog and has been polite, respectful, and friendly with other cats. Now that her babies are becoming independent, Baja has blossomed into an effervescent young cat who confidently and happily exploring her new surroundings. She loves to run through the house, playing chase with her kittens. She enjoys leaping at feather wands, hunting the mouse tail of her spinny toy, chasing a cat nip toy, and watching the world go by as she looks out the window or relaxes on the cat tree.
