It's not often that we know the backstory for cats who end up in our care, but we do for Keurig and Nespresso. These two siblings were dumped at a boat launch in 2021, and were luckily found by someone kayaking down the river that night. At the beginning of 2026, Nespresso and Keurig were transferred from Michigan to the care of Paws and Claws, and have been with us now for over 130 days.

Both of these kitties are the absolute sweetest, most comforting animals their foster has interacted with. During a sleepover at the foster's house, when a child was having trouble falling asleep long after her other friends had gone to bed, Keurig and Nespresso were brought in the room, and snuggled and comforted the child until she was able to go to sleep. Keurig will frequently shake from pure excitement upon seeing his favorite humans, and Nespresso loves belly rubs and being hugged. Both of these guys can snuggle for hours and never tire of being petted. We know these guys will make the most loving companions to their forever home, when someone gives them the chance.
