Twiggy (formerly Ella Enchanted)

I adopted Twiggy back in June of 2025 but I actually met her a few month prior when she first arrived at Paws and Claws. I took care of her while she was in treatment and fell in love with her instantaneously. I didn't fully consider adopting her until I randomly found a kitten in my alley who desperately needed a sibling to play with. She was the first one I thought of and as soon as she was adoptable I put in my application.

After I brought her home, It only took three days of separation from her younger brother Cricket for them to get comfortable with each other. She took her big sister role very seriously and always looked out for Cricket - watching over him and grooming him endlessly. When Cricket passed suddenly and tragically, she has been a steady rock through the grief that rocked both of our worlds. Since his passing, she has grown to love being an only cat. She cuddles and plays without abandon and never leaves my side. Everyday when I come home, she nuzzles my face and makes biscuits on my shoulder (before demanding her dinner far too early). I could not be more grateful that she is in my life and I am endlessly grateful to Cricket - without him, I would have never adopted Twiggy.

Love,

Eli F.
