Trellis

I am utterly obsessed with her, and it has only been three days. As a first-time cat mom, I won't lie and say I didn't have anxiety about bringing home a buddy, but boy, have I never been happier. This princess is the biggest cuddle bug and has been so much braver than I think I would be in her position. When coming to her new home, she was instantly curious and explored everything she could. Within a few hours, she was cuddled up on the couch with me, purring her heart out.

The first night's sleep was nerve-racking for me (again, she is obviously the brave one), and I woke up every time she moved to make sure she was okay. Eventually, she climbed right on top of me and snoozed away, not moving the rest of the night. My roommate, who was on board with having a cat in the apartment but has never had any interaction up close to a cat, was instantly smitten and is now proclaiming herself godmother.

Everyone around me is definitely annoyed about the amount of photos of her I shove in their face, but they all melt at the sight of her small self. I mean LITERALLY how could you not? She is settling well into our schedule and has been eating, drinking, and pottying. She is an angel among us and I am so happy she is content and loved in our home forever.
