Rocky

Rocky will be turning two years old this month—wow, how time flies! Rocky originally made his journey from an Alabama shelter with his siblings all the way up to the big ol’ Windy City.

These days, Rocky lives the good life with his two big orange tabby sisters, Aby and Pumpkin. Our inspiration for adopting Rocky was simple: we hoped a little brother might help keep his two older sisters engaged and entertained—and Rocky has certainly delivered on that promise. He’s an absolute star of the household. His sisters adore him… that is, until he appears out of nowhere and pile-drives one of them into the couch during a surprise wrestling match! Fortunately, Rocky’s charm (and undeniable cuteness) helps him work his way back into their good graces pretty quickly.

Rocky’s favorite things include Churu treats, laser lights, and cozy cuddle sessions on the couch. He will gladly accept treats at any hour of the day and takes his snack responsibilities very seriously. He also loves a good wrestling session with a blanket—after experimenting with the Sumo cat toy, we learned that Rocky much prefers a trusty throw blanket or bedsheet for his grappling matches.

When he’s feeling adventurous, Rocky enjoys long “walks” along Hollywood Beach in his Rolls Royce (also known as his kitty stroller), proudly surveying the neighborhood like the celebrity he clearly believes himself to be. He also seems to enjoy trips to the vet—mostly because they give him the opportunity to strut his stuff and meet new admirers.

We are so grateful and lucky to have Rocky in our lives. Paws and Claws truly are real matchmakers, and they helped bring us the perfect little guy.
