MEET WATERCRESS
Updated: 3 days ago
1 years old ● Female ● Easygoing, affectionate, chirpy
If you want a bitsy kitty with a chirpy meow, a cat with an insatiable drive to capture spring toys, and a companion to sleep right on top of the freshly dried laundry (to keep it warm, of course!), then Watercress is your perfect pet. This girl doesn't want much -- just someone to toss her toys around for her to chase! In return, she promises to confidently investigate anything new she notices around the house and to fall asleep right by your feet every night.
Been at P&C since 6/27/26.
A note from Watercress's foster:
"What makes WC special is her deep love of soft bathmats, her ability to form the perfect loaf, and her obsession with laundry baskets. I know naming a cat 'Water Closet' is British, and not terribly endearing, but this cat is happiest on clean folded laundry and on the shower bathmat at your feet.
She is a tiny chirper, has the most inquisitive eyes, and has little lips (as much as cats do). I swear she knows things that you could never even guess at, when she looks at you. She loves my old male cat, will play fetch with springs up and down the stairs, and wants to be close on her own terms.
I pick her up every day and give her kisses to let her know how loved she is. I want her to find a home with another young cat to chase around (maybe even a dog?) and folks who know that she wants to close and skritched but may not sit on your lap right away, but over time, I sense she will."
