MEET CHERVIL
Updated: 3 days ago
2 years old ● Male ● Playful, smart, sweet
Who wouldn't want an orange rapscallion in their home? If you agree, then you just have to meet Chervil. This 3-legged boy hasn't let his back-leg amputation slow him down whatsoever. He has an endlessly curious spirit, and loves figuring out how to get on things, under things, near things...you get the point: he is clever and persistent. He can be a bit of a clumsy goober at times, but his perfect humans would be someone willing to help him out and love him through his tumbles and miscalculated jumps. Chervil absolutely loves being in the same space as his humans; although he's not a super cuddler, he will lay up against you and make biscuits on blankets. He'd love a human that adores his quirkiness and energy!
Been at P&C since 6/27/26.
A note from Chervil's foster:
"When Chervil first arrived at my home, he was a shy guy. He had been through a lot, losing one of his legs and part of his tail, and he needed some time to get comfortable in his new space. Watching his transformation was such a joy. Once his two weeks of quarantine were over and he started exploring the house, he quickly built confidence, run-hopping from the bedroom to the living room and back.
Everything became an adventure for him. Soon, he learned how to jump onto higher and higher surfaces, he mastered the stairs, and he even became bros with my cat, Oscar, who rarely befriends my fosters. Gone was the scared boy that hid away from new people, replaced by a goofy, playful, sweet orange lad.
Chervil is one of a kind cat that truly deserves a forever home with love and laughter. He’ll do well with a lot of different households - families with kids, homes with dogs and cats, couples, solos. No matter what, he’ll bring his curiosity and chirp purrs wherever he goes."
