Swallowtail is a one-year-old tortoiseshell with a tail like a high-end feather duster. As far as her foster can tell, she does not know how to sit. We don’t mean she refuses to—we mean the physical mechanism simply isn't there. If she is waiting for her breakfast, she doesn’t politely tuck her paws. She just gives up and drops heavily onto her side, like a Victorian woman overwhelmed by the heat.
She is impossibly soft and politely inconsiderate of personal boundaries. Offer her your lap and she turns into a frantic, purring wiggle-worm, desperately mashing her head into your hand. She radiates a sort of aggressive goodwill. Swallowtail is a profoundly sweet cat, and she is looking for a home willing to accept both her and the wide-eyed little shadow who refuses to leave her side.
Swallowtail is 1 year old and bonded with Skipper. They must go home together.
