Jupiter, a 1-year-old cat with mischievous tendencies, won over many hearts when he made his way to Paws and Claws Cat Rescue. Cats with behavioral quirks are almost always euthanized in shelters to make room for cats that are affectionate and easier to adopt out.
When he gets overstimulated, Jupiter tends to mouth to communicate that he’s frustrated. We have been working with him to provide appropriate outlets for his energy and overexcitement.
Jupiter is a very silly cat. He has so much energy and loves playing with all kinds of toys, but his favorites are wand toys. He loves to hunt and catch them!
Paws and Claws Cat Rescue provides care for not only medically challenged cats, but also those with more difficult behavior like Jupiter. Our work wouldn't be possible without the Paw Print Club.
Our membership program, which allows the community to support our transformative work through monthly donations, plays a crucial role in our efforts to save cats around Chicagoland.
We’re not sure how long he’ll be in our care, but we know that there’s a family out there that can provide him with the love and patience he needs.
Jupiter’s been with us for 58 days now. While he waits for his forever family, our team is dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself.
If you’re interested in adopting Jupiter, book a reservation to meet him at our adoption center, located at 829 Chicago Ave, Evanston, IL 60202 or submit an adoption application.
