When Shimmer arrived to Paws and Claws, we couldn't help but be struck by how shiny her coat was -- her black coat almost made her look liquid. Thus, her name: Shimmer! For how absolutely stunning she looks. On top of her appearance, however, Shimmer is an absolutely perfect cat. She is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves to be near her person. She will happily ask for pets with a gentle head bump or soft meow, and enjoys quality time with you more than toys or treats. While you're reading or watching TV, she'll be right beside you, and if you work from home, she'll sleep next to your monitor just to be close. Shimmer is loving, curious, and attentive to your comings and goings, exploring every nook and cranny with the softest head rubs that’ll make you fall for her right away.
