VOLUNTEERS ARE THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO

Make a difference in an animal's life while you make a difference in your own as well. As a volunteer, you'll grow personally and professionally while forging deep connections with humans and animals alike.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Volunteers must be:

18+ years of age
Able to bend, squat, lift 40+ lbs, and stand for long periods of time
Able to work with people and felines

Submit Application

Sign Waiver

Review and sign the volunteer waiver. This step is important because it ensures everyone understands our policies and helps keep our volunteers, cats, and staff safe.

Attend Orientation

Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from us! All volunteers will complete a short pre-orientation video before attending orientation so you know what to expect, learn our mission, and feel confident stepping into your role.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

CAT CARE CREW

Clean free-roaming cat rooms and kennels
Feed, care for, and socialize with cats, including basic handling like weighing and nail trims
Help with dishes, laundry, and other daily tasks

ADOPTION SCREENER

Contact applicants who submit adoption forms to conduct screening conversations
Answer general questions about the adoption process and Paws and Claws

VISITOR VALET

Welcome and assist guests during Cuddle Cat hours
Keep room binders up to date with resident cats
Answer general questions about Paws and Claws

AUCTION COMMITTEE

Coming up with a list of diverse auction offerings
Reaching out to businesses, organizations and corporations to secure items
Assisting with organization, auction table layout, and logistics

ADMIN AVIATOR

Assisting with administrative tasks, including scanning documents and data entry
Write adoption bios for cats

BIRTHDAY BARON

Help create a fun and safe experience by supervising children during cat interactions
Assist with crafts and activities
Support with party setup and cleanup
